Overlapping Circles, Series 1, Image: 1

£285.00

Circles are anchored in to a grid, forming totemic-like patterns that evoke a sense of order and balance.

Details

350gsm watercolour paper, Tool, watercolour paper & Prym needle, Sennelier Indian Ink, Ala Pagode Black. 1:7 is the number of rotations made before re-dipping in the ink.

Ink has always been at the heart of my practice, offering limitless possibilities for creating unique and expressive marks. Making low-tech tools, I explore its potential, with every reapplication producing surprising and distinctive results. These explorations have culminated in a collection of ink drawings /illustrations. Each piece captures the medium’s unparalleled versatility and character, making it a perfect addition to any space.

Dimensions

H59.5cm x W81cm 350gsm watercolour paper.

Original Art

Material/: Each piece of slate is the sole version of itself. I hand make each quilt and any variations in stitching are part of the intended aesthetic. Ink/: Each piece of ink work is unique & original - it is not a print and is the only version. Cloth/: I dye each piece individually, creating one of a kind pieces and striving to use ethically sourced natural fibres. I sign all pieces.
