Inspired by techniques passed down through centuries—embroidered—I adapt this timeless method onto recycled slate, creating unique, contemporary pieces.
Each work reflects significant moments and personal narratives, with every stitch capturing a story. The Bullion Stitch, with its distinctive wrapped formation, is central to this process, symbolising the intricate layers of experience woven into each piece.

Original Art
Material/: Each piece of slate is the sole version of itself. I hand make each quilt and any variations in stitching are part of the intended aesthetic. Ink/: Each piece of ink work is unique & original - it is not a print and is the only version. Cloth/: I dye each piece individually, creating one of a kind pieces and striving to use ethically sourced natural fibres. I sign all pieces.
