The exploration of materials is pivotal to my practice; I gravitate towards natural fibers for their tactile properties, incorporating hard materials like slate - utilising the gentle & brutal act of stitching to challenge traditional textile methods. My choice of materials in personal projects is guided by ethical & environmental considerations, ensuring they are sourced responsibly. I experiment with the development of innovative dyeing techniques to achieve unique painterly outcomes.
